Well, I could have published something useful here; unfortunately, the (German!) law requires a "legal notice" instead. It, the law, instructs me to encourage you to read the information provided here carefully from time to time because they are subject to changes without further notice.

Serious now: since no one reads that legal baloney anyway, or earnestly cares for it until he/she believes to smell a trace of a chance to make a buck or two out of the teeniest little incompliance of this site to it (the law!), I refrain from translating all details and legal phrases of the rather comprehensive legal notice of the German section of my Web site. Instead, I state that, since the English version of my Web site is only a subordinated section, and furthermore written in a language that is not my native tongue, in case of disputes and/or discrepancies the German version shall govern.

This Web site is a private, independently operated, non-commercial Internet presence. It is not aimed to hurt, compromise, unmask or ridicule anyone else but myself. Therefore I trust to remain untroubled by greedy and mean sharks from the guild of lawyers whose only intention behind their combing through the Net is tracing possible infringements of copyright... and gaining personal profit from it. If one of those pitiful pettifoggers should indeed have found his/her way to here, well... here's my message to you. In the German language, nota bene.
